Some staff working in mental health services in Tower Hamlets have undergone 5 major reorganisational changes since 1999.
They have been under the management of the following organisations and subject to the usual corporate makeover, new letter heads and badges.
1.Tower Hamlets Area Health Authority
2.Royal London Trust
3.City and East London Family and Community Health Services
4.Tower Hamlets Healthcare NHS Trust
5.East London and the City Mental Health Trust
6.East London NHS Foundation Trust, currently implementing a green squigaly line in its logo!!!
Other localities had similar changes but Tower Hamlets led the way as being one of the early 'Trusts'.
No news yet about the next organisational change but we would seem to overdue one.

The Claybury banner had an image of a group of rats in bowler hats being chased off the site by the staff.
Claybury Hospital closed some years ago. The COHSE branch there had a long and proud history of supporting staff in national disputes throughout the 1940s .1960s,1970s and 80s. Its not clear when the banner was created but it had a very potent message.
